About Kasmin

(John) Kasmin was born in London in 1934. He lived in Oxford during his childhood until his wander years in New Zealand, where he wrote poetry and pursued a great variety of employments for almost four years. He has lived in London since 1956 as an art dealer, gallery owner and collector of antiquities, curios, friends and books. He divides his time between high art, high society and high places to walk in, and recuperates in Suffolk or at the Wigmore Hall.
